Your new job as a Pedagogical Professional

At Norlandia, we believe children learn best when they can go on adventures of their own. As a pedagogical professional, you guide them every day in their journey of discovery, preferebly outdoors! From building forts to baking mud pies, you inspire children with activities that fit their age, interests, and imagination. Your own creativity and ideas play an essential role in this. You’ll also foster a safe, structured, and nurturing environment, provide healthy snacks, make mealtimes warm and enjoyable, and communicate open and positively with parents.

• A competitive salary according to the Child Care CLA (cao Kinderopvang), scale 6 (varying between €2641,- and €3630,- per month, based on 36 hours per week); 
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May;

Working with children gives you energy. With your experience, you intuitively understand what they need and respond with both care and creativity. Whether you’re at the start of your career or already bring years of expertise, if supporting children’s growth makes you happy, we’d love to get to know you.

You: 

• Hold an diploma that qualifies you to work in Dutch childcare; 
• Have excellent English communication skills (minimum C1 level);
• Bring fresh ideas, while also providing clarity and structure; 
• Enjoy spending time outdoors - even when it rains a bit; 
• Thrive in a close, dedicated team; 
• Can provide a valid VOG (Certificate of Conduct) 

Your new workingplace: 
At Norlandia Childcare ASH in Wassenaar, located within the Early Childhood Center of the American School of The Hague, we provide English-speaking childcare for children aged 0–4 years. The location combines a bright room with a Scandinavian-inspired design and green outdoor garden, where children can play, explore, and enjoy fresh air whenever possible. You’ll be part of a caring, adventurous, and international team that works closely together to create a warm, nurturing environment. The location is easily accessible by both car and public transport, so you can start your day relaxed and on time.
